Hidden Russian Propaganda
What do Nigerians and Russians share in common?
It's a tough sell to say that Russians and Nigerians are bosom buddies. But have you ever wondered why the vast majority of people, a.k.a. Russian and Nigerian opinions on the legitimacy of certain actions contrast the common sense of humanity? When it comes to honesty and dignity, it leaves me speechless because the things they do and say seem absurd. Moreover, this kind of behavior is being spread around the world through various types of activities, which pose inherent dangers to the world.
The question: What do Nigerians and Russians share in common? Short answer: Violation of the peaceful rules of coexistence accepted by humanity.
Because there is the hidden propaganda of Russians on the one hand and concealed fraudstering activity of Nigerians on the other.
Let me try to enlarge my point on Nigerians and Russians. Figuring out what else they share is a bit like trying to catch a slippery eel with buttered hands, or trying to find the connection between a banana and a snowstorm. However, if we muster our detective skills, we can spot a few similarities amid the chaos.
Let's have a closer look at the root of the task and think about the differentiation. Black and white comes to mind as the root of the task. What is associated with black and white? Further, my mental image somehow sparks a connection of black and white photographs.
These 'black and white photographs' association leads me to the story, which I want to share with you.
Here is the story:
Recently, my sister shared with me a TikTok reel that delved into a nostalgic theme, reflecting on the old days of our lives. The video highlighted our identity as Generation X, emphasizing the notion that we are a distinctive group deserving of respect and affection due to our 'limited edition' status.
The reel's accompanying text was overlaid on a series of black and white photographs.
Here comes the original text:
Here is the English translation of the Russian text:
We are the people who were born between 1945 and 1985, and we are blessed. Our lives are living proof of that. Playing and riding bicycles, we never wore helmets; we were not afraid to walk to school alone from the first day of classes.
After school, we played until sunset. We never watched TV for half a day. We played with real friends, not internet friends. If we ever felt thirsty, we drank tap water, not bottled water. We rarely got sick, even though we shared the same glass of juice with four friends.
Our parents treated us with budget remedies of domestic production or traditional medicine. We never gained weight, although we ate a lot of bread and potatoes every day. We were used to creating our own toys and playing with them; we shared our toys and books. Our parents were not wealthy; they gave us their love and taught us to value the spiritual rather than the material. They instilled in us the concept of true human values - honesty, loyalty, respect, and hard work.
We never had mobile phones, DVDs, PlayStations, Boom-Boxes, video games, personal computers, internet chats. But we had real friends. We visited our friend's house without an invitation, and we were treated to simple and modest food.
Our memories were captured in black and white photographs, but they were vibrant and colorful. We enjoyed flipping through family albums and cherished the portraits of our ancestors. We didn't discard books; we stood in line for them and then read them avidly. We didn't expose our lives for others to see, nor did we discuss other people's lives with the same enthusiasm as you do, showcasing your life on Instagram, and openly discussing your family secrets in the mass media space.
We are a unique and understanding generation, the last generation that truly listened to our parents. Besides, we are the first to listen to our children, and we are the ones who are still smarter than you and who help you. We are a limited edition. Enjoy us, learn from us, value us, before we disappear.
Now, let's get to the main point
The Russians are on a strange campaign, talking about the old days like they were perfect. They want to go back to a time of innocence, like when grandma baked apple pie. They’re spreading this idea with the help of American commentator Tucker Carlson on TV and the Internet.
Meanwhile, Nigerians are trying internet scams, like villains in a movie. These online scammers are trying to trick people, while the Russian Foreign Affairs Minister acts innocent about their involvement in Ukraine. They want everyone to believe their military invasion in Ukraine was just because of ... (can anyone explain it, justify?). Your comments are welcome.
It’s like being caught stealing cookies and saying you were just checking if they were all the same size.
Ridiculous, right?
Both Russia and Nigeria seem to have government officials who are masters of lying, corruption, and flattery. It's like they belong to a secret club of deceivers. In both places, there are corrupt government members and their loyal followers.
The Russian propaganda experts are tricky. They talk about the good old days and spread their influence through lies. They’re trying to lead people blindly. So to say, it's the blind leading the blind, not even the fact one-eyed leading the blind.
Now, if you still think comparing Russians and Nigerians is like comparing apples and kangaroos, then try throwing North Koreans into the mix. It's like bringing an orchestra of oddities to a potluck party – everyone's got a different tune, but you can't quite figure out how they all ended up on the same stage.
So, there you have it, a wild ride through the strange similarities and jaw-dropping differences between Nigerians, Russians, and the whole global carnival of shenanigans. And let's not even get started on the North Koreans – they're the wildcard that nobody saw coming.
And speaking about all of these, I'd like to challenge the big elephant in the room, i.e. central propaganda. I want to say to them - "stop lying, and don’t rewrite history!".
We all need to live peacefully with our neighbors without losing our own identity and help each other when needed.
Слава Украине!
In response I stated my disagreement as follows:
Quote
So this story involves a wild blend of online trickery, eyebrow-raising government shenanigans, and a sprinkling of nostalgia-infused propaganda. It's like trying to knit an Ear Flap Hat out of spaghetti – you might not understand how it all fits together, but this hidden Russian propaganda sure influences the minds of "Children and Youth of Homo Sovetikus".
The moral of this story is "blind leading the blind" and I find it an "eye-opening" spectacle to be aware of hidden Russian propaganda.
